The World we live in

We live in a world where children are being neglected.Tossed around place to place being rejected. We live in a world where words are exchanged in a unkindly way.We live in a world where I love you really means I hate you because I hurt you .We live in a world where it’s okay to judge one for what they did before but not giving them praise for what their doing now.We live in a world where young men disrespect women in so many ways when a woman was the one that birth them .We live in a world where being accepted is hard to do when someone is not living life the same as you.But why? When God created us all to be different yet we fail to understand that.We live in a world where We judge,Hurt,&Destroy. We live in a world where we don’t notice this is the kind of world we Live in.

  1. Two lines really struck my heart – and I think that’s because I am a mother of a prodigal “t’s okay to judge one for what they did before but not giving them praise for what their doing now” and “We live in a world where being accepted is hard to do when someone is not living life the same as you” – so many teens are struggling today because they don’t have the parental support they need – and the make poor choices – and because they make poor choices, the “good” people don’t want anything to do with them – but God called us to save them – every one of them. Saving them isn’t waiting for them to become “good” – it is connecting and loving them unconditionally, to show them the heart of Jesus – and cheering them on as they slowly take one step at a time to the Father’s house! Thanks for stopping by and inviting me over. So glad to meet you!

  2. Sadly, this is the world we live in. I took hold of the part about the young men. They need positive male reinforcements in their lives. If they have no positive guide they will turn to what they see on tv, where males degrade women. It is up to males like me and others to mentor other young men because that is how God used other men in my life. Very good blog entry!
